Purpose
The PCT Level 1 Certificate is a one-year, 为期两个学期的课程，为学生准备国家健康职业协会(NHA)的静脉切开术认证, Electrocardiogram, and Medical Assistant. In addition, 该计划为学生准备护士助理培训和能力评估计划(NATCEP)作为认证护士助理的认证.
Upon successful completion of the program and certifications, 学生将具备协助重症病人护理的基本知识和技能. Student will be able to check vital signs, perform CPR and first aid, assist with medical examinations, perform electrocardiograms, basic laboratory procedures and phlebotomy, and various nurse assistant procedures.
Admission Requirements

Application Process -- Applicants must meet the following requirements:

- Must hold a valid social security card.

- Evidence of required immunizations, in writing, as required by the Texas Department of Health, 包括乙型肝炎系列和脑膜炎疫苗或可接受滴度的证明. Hepatitis-B series must be completed prior to registration.

Advanced Placement Policy
In order to receive advanced placement credit for CNA, CCMA, CPT, or CET, 申请人必须持有每个培训领域的最新证书和/或执照.

- Must be fully accepted into the PCT program.
